An Automatic Cup Lidder for the Food Industry

We were contracted to develop a method of pressing lids onto cups. They wanted something quick and simple. The cups were filled and the lids were placed on by hand. The obvious advantage was quicker lidding and less chance of carpal tunnel syndrome for the people. We used a simple photoeye and solenoid to tamp the lids on.
